In 2020, Total Mauritius commissioned SPACE to design the interiors of their new head office in Phoenix. The beauty and challenges of this project came from the building itself; An old factory which had been converted into a business park. The brief was to restore and expose as much of the former building’s features as possible, while completing the rest of the interior design, with modern furniture and amenities, with a focus on staff mobility, communication, comfort and general wellbeing. We were fortunate to work with a client such as Total Mauritius, who understood the importance of having a proper budget if you want proper work done, which was key to the success of a project this big.
